This is a thick, creamy banana smoothie bowl made with tahini and honey. Top the smoothie with sesame seeds, fresh fruit, oats, shaved chocolate and nuts.

Ingredients

  • 2 sliced bananas, frozen
  • 1/3 cup full fat milk (or any alternative milk of your choice)
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • pinch of salt

optional toppings

  • banana slices
  • fresh blackberries
  • dark chocolate shavings
  • tahini, for drizzling
  • honey, for drizzling
  • toasted sesame seeds
  • fresh mint

Instructions

  1. Combine frozen bananas, milk, tahini, vanilla, honey and salt in a blender. Blend until completely smooth and thick.
  2. Divide smoothie into 2 chilled bowls. Add toppings as desired and enjoy immediately.
