Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp fresh-squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 small garlic clove, mashed into a smooth paste
  • 1 tbsp minced fresh flat-leaf parsley (or 1 1/2 tsp dried parsley)
  • 1 tbsp minced chives (or 1 1/2 tsp dried chives)
  • 1 tbsp minced dill (or 1 1/2 tsp dried dill)
  • 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine buttermilk, sour cream, mayonnaise, and lemon juice and whisk smooth.
  2. Add garlic, parsley, chives, dill, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until combined. Taste and add more lemon, salt, or pepper, if needed.
  3. Store in a glass jar, refrigerated, for up to 1 week.
