This is one of the most flavorful sour cocktails we’ve made! We don’t often mix Campari and gin, but the combination is pretty perfect.
The light, herbal botanical notes add a lovely freshness to the bold Campari. Shake it up with a hefty squeeze of lemon, the tiniest drop of simple syrup, and a silky egg white and you have a thirst-quenching (and beautiful!) summer cocktail.

how to make a campari sour:
- Combine everything in a cocktail shaker.
- Dry shake (no ice!) for 1 minute.
- Add ice and shake until chilled, about 20 seconds.
- Strain into a coupe and enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz gin
- ¾ oz Campari
- ¾ oz lemon juice
- ¼ oz simple syrup
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- 1 egg white
Instructions
- Combine gin, Campari, lemon juice, simple syrup, bitters, and egg white in a cocktail shaker (don’t add ice yet). Vigorously shake until mixture is very foamy, about 1 minute.
- Fill shaker with ice and shake another 20 seconds, or until well chilled.
- Strain into a chilled coupe. Serve.
